Still deciding if its the right vacation destination for you? There is so, so much to do in Las Vegas - and casino gambling is only one of the options available! The following is a breakdown of a few of the major activities enjoyed by the millions of Las Vegas tourists each year.
Gamble
Of course! If you’re over 21, gambling is probably one of the main reasons (if not THE reason) why you decided to make a trip to Las Vegas in the first place. No matter what time of day or night, or what season of the year, there will always, always be plenty of places to gamble. Most casino games and casino floors are largely the same – huge cavernous rooms filled with rows upon rows of slot machines and table games. Small differences (and occasionally choices) may vary from location to location. Most larger casinos in Las Vegas (especially those which are part of resorts), will feature a casino loyalty program to keep visitors coming back to that one particular casino. Themes and décor, minimum bids, clientele and other factors determine the nature of the casino, but the games themselves remain the same.

Shopping in Las Vegas is different than anywhere else! Particularly in the resorts, shopping can be a truly over-the-top experience. Malls – if you can even call them that – are as much entertainment and theme park as they are shopping center. As many resort malls are based on the theme of their home resort, visitors are treated to the canals of Venice, the bazaars of the Middle East, the Forum of ancient Rome, and even a promenade of bygone Hollywood. The stores themselves are almost always upscale (and expensive), with well-known chains represented. However, the shopping experience of Vegas makes all the difference.
